Franklyn Obinna Ohakim KSC, is a dynamic Nigerian entrepreneur, technology expert, and security professional. He currently serves as the Director and Business Development Executive at Samm Cooper Security Services Limited and holds a Board Member position at Mekahog Limited. With a robust background in computer science and business administration, Franklyn has consistently leveraged his expertise across various sectors including security, defense and information technology.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Coventry University, UK, and an MBA from Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. His professional development includes specialized certifications from institutions such as DCD Protected Mobility, the United Nations Department of Safety and Security, and the University of Michigan, with a focus on armoured personnel carrier operation, technical maintenance training, negotiation, BSAFE, Preparing and Responding to Active Shooter Incidents, negotiation skills and crisis response.
Franklyn's career spans multiple leadership roles, including his time as Executive Director at Worldview Integrated Technologies Limited and IT Analyst for the Imo State Government House, where he contributed to key technological advancements like the Imo State Wi-Fi Project. He also spearheaded the Nigeria Interactive Multimedia project, endorsed by Nigeria's Ministry of Information and Communication and the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC).
